Two young men were rushed to hospital after being stabbed in a Balclutha street late last night.
One of the victims, 22, was flown to Dunedin Hospital with chest wounds and was in a serious condition.
The second victim, 16, had been discharged from Balclutha Hospital after treatment for a chest wound, Senior Sergeant Lane Todd of Balclutha police said.
A Balclutha man, 18, was arrested early today and charged with wounding with intent to commit grievous bodily harm, breach of bail and possession of an offensive weapon.
He was due to appear in Balclutha District Court today.
