Streamer ready for round two

A man who streamed Joseph Parker's last fight on Facebook says he is ready to repeat his actions.

James Bryant used Facebook's Live feature on his cellphone to record and broadcast Parker's clash with Carlos Takam in May.

He wasn't the only one, and Duco promoter Dean Lonergan came out swinging against the "complete lowlife s***heads" and threatened to sue.

But Bryant plans to post a live-stream of Parker's next fight, against Solomon Haumono on Thursday.

"It's nothing against Duco or Joseph Parker ... If I've got access to the pay-per-view I've got no problem with sharing the access."

He said the Facebook live video he posted of the fight attracted just under 2000 viewers, and he thought the $49.99 price-tag for the last fight was too high.

The Parker-Haumono fight is selling for $39.95 and Duco chief executive Martin Snedden conceded the promoters were up against it in trying to eliminate live streams of Parker's fights.

Duco was hoping to learn from each event what could be done to minimise the impacts of live-streaming.

Non-Sky subscribers will have the option to stream the fight through Sky's Fan Pass for $39.95.
