The first of episode of a new true crime series on Snapchat launches this week with the story about New Zealander Warriena Wright who died while on a Tinder date with Australian carpet layer Gable Tostee.
The new six-episode Snapchat series called True Crime/Uncovered from Conde Nast Entertainment, which is available in New Zealand, launched this week and the first episode is called The Deadly Tinder Date, Variety is reporting.
The Deadly Tinder Date is about Warriena Wright, 26, who died after falling 14 stories from a balcony while holidaying in the Gold Coast in 2014. She had met Gable Tostee earlier in the night and went back to his apartment.
In 2016, Tostee was cleared of the murder or manslaughter of Wright.
The short five-minute episodes are being rolled out over the next few weeks. The second tells the story of victim Annie Le, a Yale animal research technician who was murdered five days before her wedding in 2009. Raymond Clark III, who also worked at the university, pleaded guilty to murdering Le and is serving a 44-year prison sentence.
