Former All Black 'Stormin' Norman Berryman will be buried in his adopted home-town of Perth.
The 42-year-old father of six died on Tuesday from a suspected heart attack.
His family have announced he will be buried in Perth, the Western Australian city he has called home for the past decade.
In a post on the Tribute to Norman Rangi Berryman Facebook page, his family said they were "aware that people are very anxious to find out where our father's final resting place will be".
Posts in the comments section asked whether the service could be livestreamed for all his family and friends in New Zealand who won't be able to travel to Australia for the funeral.
His family also thanked "everyone for all the heartfelt messages we have received".
"The messages are supporting us in more way than you will ever realise," it said.
Berryman's death came shortly after he returned from Italy, where he played an exhibition match to honour fellow former All Black Jerry Collins, who died in a car crash in France earlier this month.
Norman Berryman played one test for the All Blacks, against South Africa in 1998. He had recently been living in Perth working as a forklift driver. He is survived by six children.
Berryman won three Super Rugby titles with the Crusaders in 1998, 1999, and 2000 and played 75 matches for Northland from 1991 to 2000. He also played for the New Zealand Maori.
His only test came off the bench in a 24-23 defeat to the Springboks in Durban.
