KEY POINTS:
A "lazy store person" has been blamed for placing ticketing over lacy knickers and bras suitable for a teenager with the heading Surprise Your Dad in a department store.
J Karmarovsky complained to the Advertising Standards Authority saying it contained sexual connotations and was in bad taste.
The Farmers' Trading Company said the ticketing was for Fathers Day promotions such as menswear, men's fragrance and giftware.
"Our new season ticketing for women's wear should have been used in our lingerie department. The lazy store person had not placed the correct paper in the printing machine."
The store had apologised to the complainant and said it had counselled the worker.
The authority chairman ruled the complaint had been settled.
