Stomach bug outbreak traced to oysters

Health authorities have issued a warning against eating raw oysters from Opua marina after a stomach bug outbreak.

Since last week 25 cases have been notified of the infectious gastrointestinal illness, shigellosis.

The bug can be very severe in young children and older people.
