A 22-year-old man has died after the car he was driving was allegedly hit by a stolen car speeding through a red light in Auckland.
Two cars were racing along Carbine Road in Mount Wellington, when one went through a red light and T-boned a Honda Civic which had the green light, police said.
The Subaru Forrester, which hit the Honda Civic, was stolen.
A person in the Subaru Forrester was seen getting into the other speeding car, while another occupant from the car was found by police nearby.
They were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
