Residents are warned to be aware of parking conditions this holiday season to avoid getting their car clamped in privately owned carparks.
Gavin Walden of First Security said people who choose to park at the Farmers carpark in Masterton remember the terms and conditions of their free parking period of three hours, which should not be exceeded.
He said it would be best for the users of the carpark to observe the conditions to avoid getting their car clamped by security.
"We're going to start activating it very soon and we just need a bit of warning out there for the general public so they don't get too upset if their car is clamped," Mr Walden said.
"We've started making a presence in there at the moment.
