Steven Joyce waits for Winston - on the plane

In a moment of irony Steven Joyce has been snapped waiting for Winston Peters - this time on a plane.

No doubt the National Party MP and finance minister is already waiting for Peters to make his call on which political party he plans to join forces with.

But on his flight to Wellington earlier today Joyce was forced to wait again for the New Zealand First politician as he took his time to get seated on the plane.

Radio host Wallace Chapman was on the same plane as the two politicians when he saw the holdup and shared this tweet.

Numerous media outlets have commented on a less than friendly, albeit professional, relationship between the two politicians, NZ First party insiders saying Peters is not a fan of the finance minister.
