If you want a drink with a real Irish flavour on this very special day for those with links to the Emerald Isle, the opportunity to tuck into a cold Guinness is at hand, at Joxer Daly's Steak and Ale House.
The pub has been celebrating St Patrick's day for 17 years and is well versed in all the festivities the day has to offer.
This year, owners John and Rose-Marie Cavaney are putting on a brunch of Irish stew and lamb shanks with Guinness gravy.
Mrs Cavaney said the day is always a bit like Melbourne Cup Day, where everyone dresses up and goes out for a day of fun.
St Patrick's Day music will be provided by DJ Sharvelle and Dean Parkinson - who has been playing at the pub on St Patrick's day for all 17 years.
