State Highway 2 now clear after multiple-vehicle crash at Lower Hutt

State Highway 2 (SH2) at Lower Hutt is now clear following a multiple-vehicle crash this afternoon.

Police responded to the crash on SH2 between Grounsell Cres and Tirohanga Rd after being alerted to it at about 3.40pm.

By 4.40pm they reported the road was now clear.

Waka Kotahi NZTA asked vehicles to continue to pass with care.
