KEY POINTS:
Between 13,000 and 15,000 seats have been sold for the carnival match between Beckham's Los Angeles Galaxy team and the Oceania All Stars.
The stadium will be set up to hold just under 32,000 for the game.
And if you do want a peep at Beckham while he's here in Auckland over the next week, going to the 7.30pm game is looking like your only chance, since no public appearances are planned.
The football megastar will be in town for five days, flying in to Auckland at 5.30am on Wednesday. Beckham's wife, Victoria, and their three children will not be with him.
Also in the Galaxy team are name players Landon Donovan, Chris Klein and Steven Cronin.
The All Stars include former Manchester United player and Australian international Mark Bosnich and former Real Madrid and French international star Christian Karembeu.
Tickets range from $85 to $180 for adults, and $45 for children in the north and south stands.
