A stall owner at Hamilton's Saturday markets wasn't going to let his cash bag get away easily this morning.
When he saw his bag in a woman's car, he leaned over on the bonnet to try and stop her leaving but she accelerated away with him on top of the vehicle.
He was thrown off a short distance later, somewhat shaken, said police.
A woman surrendered herself at the Hamilton Central Police Station a short time later and has been charged with theft and aggravated assault.
