Three staff are sought to help the Masterton District Council with projects and the roles will soon be advertised.
Chief executive Pim Borren has written a report to councillors advising them he will soon be "going to the market" for the three staff.
One new appointee will focus on the Homebush sewage treatment project and will report to assets and operations manager David Hopman.
The other two will be involved with establishing a Projects Office under the auspices of the chief executive.
It is expected all three positions will be full-time and the cost of hiring them will come from within existing budgets.
