KEY POINTS:
Three staff members at Rotorua Hospital are being decontaminated after white powder was found in a envelope this morning.
Fire communications shift manager Megan Ruru said two people had come into contact with the powder.
The envelope had been locked in an isolated room, she said.
She had not heard any reports of injuries.
Police called the fire service about 11.55am.
Three fire trucks and a HAZMAT unit were in attendance, Ms Ruru said.
