Otago Regional Council is set to canvass residents over whether they support local government funding for a proposed new indoor stadium.
Dunedin City Council voted last month to support a multipurpose roofed stadium in Awatea St near Logan Park, which if it went ahead would be built with funding from Otago University.
The city council voted to contribute $91.4 million to the stadium, which is expected to cost $188 million in total.
