Stabbing pair face charges

A woman faces charges after a 24-year-old man was stabbed in Gisborne early on Thursday.

The pair had allegedly assaulted each other at their home in the suburb of Elgin.

The man, who was treated at hospital for a superficial wound, has been charged with assaulting a female and remanded in custody.
