Harcourts continue to dominate the Wairarapa premier club netball competition after hammering St Matthews 60-14 at the Colombo Road courts in Masterton on Saturday. Harcourts' domination this season is evident in their for and against tally. After just three rounds this year, Harcourts are one of only two unbeaten teams and have already notched up 188 goals and conceded just 68. Up until Saturday, St Matthews were unbeaten this season, but they were no match for a determined Harcourts combination.
Wairarapa College remain the other unbeaten side, dispatching Gladstone All Blacks 45-33 on Saturday. In other matches, new side Makoura clinched their second draw of the early season, a 47-all thriller with Carterton New World Legends, Kuranui edged out Pioneer 45-43 and Fagan Hot Shots were comfortable 55-36 winners over Carterton New World Lynx.
In Premier two competition, Hiona beat Carterton New World Red 28-18, Wairarapa College B3 beat St Matthews 32-13, Trevs knocked over Solway 39-11 and Martinborough beat Wairarapa College Int A 23-15.
St Matthews' prayers go unanswered
