The St John of God brother found guilty of sex abuse will be sentenced this morning.
Brother Rodger Moloney was found guilty after a three week trial in June on seven charges dating back to the 1970s when he was head of Maryland's School in Christchurch. Moloney was found not guilty on 16 other charges.
At the time, Justice Pankhurst granted bail to a Christchurch address saying Moloney is not seen as a risk to the community. Moloney will come before the High Court this morning for sentencing on the seven charges.
