A top level sportsman is to appear in court tomorrow facing a charge of rape.
The Herald understands the charge of sexual violation by way of rape against the man, aged in his 20s, follows an alleged incident involving a student last month.
The man is a top-level and award-winning provincial sportsman.
He will appear in a district court tomorrow.
