KEY POINTS:
The Herald on Sunday sportswriters are winners again.
Sports editor Paul Lewis and senior sportswriter Dylan Cleaver scooped the pool of newspaper writing awards at the 26th annual TP McLean sports journalism awards in Auckland on Friday night.
Lewis won the awards for best sports columnist and best feature writer, and Cleaver was named best print news journalist.
Photosport's Andrew Cornaga, whose work regularly appears in the Herald on Sunday, won the award for best single photograph.
The accolades follow similar success for the Herald on Sunday at the same awards last year - and the sports section being named the best overall section of any newspaper at this year's prestigious Qantas Media Awards. NewstalkZB's Andrew Saville was named sports journalist of the year, and Brett Phibbs of the NZ Herald won the award for best photography portfolio.
