Spongebob book recalled over choking danger

A colouring book featuring a popular cartoon character has been recalled over fears young children could choke on it.

Two toys attached to The Spongebob Squarepants Movie: I'm Ready Colour and Activity Book could be hazardous if swallowed, particularly by children under three years old.

However, the book, which has been available since December 2004, posed no risk, its New Zealand publishers Random House said in a statement today.

The toys should be disposed of immediately or the book and toys returned to the shop where they were bought for a full refund.
