A Masterton farming family are $200,000 richer after spinning Lotto's winning wheel on Saturday.
Geoff and Kim won the opportunity to spin the wheel, which contains prizes ranging from $100,000 to $1 million, several weeks back when Geoff's Carterton-bought ticket came up trumps.
On Saturday, the couple fronted up in an Auckland TV studio and Geoff did the honours putting his shoulder to the wheel, metaphorically speaking, winning them $200,000.
Prior to doing so, he and Kim took the opportunity to broadcast a live television greeting to their family and to many well-wishers who had learned who they were and of their golden opportunity to enhance their finances.
Their win was further celebrated when the Lotto presenters Jordan Vandermade and Sonia Gray presented the couple with a bottle of bubbly to drink a toast to their good luck.
