Speedway racing at Western Springs Stadium on Sunday night went over the 85 decibel boundary noise limit eight times in 20 events but Auckland City Council will not take any action.
Official monitoring showed the noise was recorded at 86 decibels five times and 87 decibels three times.
City council manager of compliance monitoring, Barry Smedts, said tonight the noise limit was generally complied with and no enforcement action would be taken.
