The gathering of several Rolls-Royces in any one location is guaranteed to draw onlookers, but 47 Silver Ghosts outside the Panhans Grand Hotel in Vienna stopped all local traffic and attracted crowds before the final drive of the 2013 Centenary Alpine Trial.
After 16 days and more than 3000km, the owners took to the road for the last time, mirroring the same journey exactly 100 years previously, on Saturday, June 29, 1913.
Onlookers clapped and cheered as the convoy approached central Vienna, and made their way to the final destination and scene of the start of the trial that took them through five countries and across the famous and challenging Alpine road.
