The margin between National’s Catherine Wedd and Labour’s Anna Lorck in Tukituki widened to an even greater degree after the special vote count, from 8978 to 10,118.
In Ikaroa-Rāwhiti, the gap was relatively static. The margin between Labour’s Cushla Tangaere-Manuel and Te Pāti Māori’s Meka Whaitiri shifted from 2860 to 2843.
Finally, for the Wairarapa electorate, which includes part of Central Hawke’s Bay, the gap between National’s Mike Butterick and Labour’s Kieran McAnulty increased slightly, widening from 2481 to 2816.
