KEY POINTS:
Chris Dagg's phone has been ringing "quite a bit" since a photo of his granddaughter appeared in the Weekend Herald.
Little Georgia, daughter of Emirates Team NZ downwind trimmer James Dagg, was snapped by Herald photographer Mark Mitchell celebrating the team's second win in the America's Cup.
The picture proved a winner in the photography competition run by cup management, winning first prize in the Moments category.
Georgia, aged 21 months, was among a contingent of Kiwi fans at the Woolshed in Valencia, a former cargo shed where thousands of New Zealand supporters watched the cup races on a giant screen.
Her appearance in print was not a total surprise for her grandfather.
"She's got that special look about her - a lot of people were taking a photo of her."
Georgia, her dad and mum Gilly, an equestrian rider, live in Coatesville, just north of Auckland, but have been based in Valencia since March. James Dagg is involved in another regatta so they will not return to New Zealand before August.
Herald reader Kathy Hardy, who works with Chris Dagg, recognised Georgia and emailed the newspaper.
