The Speaker's five-country, two-week tour has come to an end in Germany and Poland, including a trip to former Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz.
Speaker David Carter said the six MPs had been building on New Zealand's relationships across the continent, most recently in Berlin.
Mr Carter was accompanied by National's Deputy Speaker, Chester Borrows, first-term Labour MP Adrian Rurawhe, Green Party foreign affairs spokesman Kennedy Graham, first-term New Zealand First MP Fletcher Tabuteau and four partners.
When the delegation left two weeks ago some critics questioned the value of sending backbenchers on a $138,000 trip around the continent on the taxpayer tab. Some of the delegation said they were maintaining crucial ties with European Parliaments and building New Zealand's economy.
Since the criticism, MPs downplayed the sightseeing - Mr Tabuteau deleted a Twitter picture in front of the Eiffel Tower taken before the tour and Mr Carter has released statements on the delegation's work.
