SPCA staff describe 4-year-old Ivy as delightful and irresistible.
The charcoal and white friendly feline is looking for a new home where she will be showered with attention.
Feline team leader Jenna Fowler says Ivy loves company and will make a great addition to any household.
"She is the kind of cat who will come and meet you at the front door," says Mrs Fowler.
Ivy likes to have her tummy rubbed and is known for her playful nature.
She was surrendered to the SPCA because her owners could no longer look after her. She has an inquisitive and tactile nature.
Mrs Fowler says the abundance of cute and fluffy kittens in the shelter during peak kitten season means older cats often get overlooked.
Altogether 1190 older cats have been adopted from the SPCA over the past year, but twice that number of kittens have been found new homes in that period.

Ivy's village ID is 201054.
