Bull terrier-cross Amy is a cheeky 11-month-old pup looking for a new home.
She is intelligent and can push the boundaries so she needs an owner who will be able to set rules and stick to them.
Canine attendant Taryn Mager says Amy is an all-round sweetheart who loves to play.
"She's a hoot. She loves to talk back to you," says Mrs Mager.
Amy will be suited to a household with children over the age of 10 and no cats.
She will get along well with another dog companion.
Canine team leader Max Burndred says finding a home for the older puppies is sometimes a challenge once they have reached the age of six months.
"The older puppies and the teenagers do have a harder time.
"It's when they get to be nearly fully grown it tends to be harder," says Ms Burndred.
