"Folk could arrive greeted with 'Yeah gidday, gidday, sharing copious cups of tea, all standard, white and one, whether you drank it like this or not.
"For Dad, motorcycles were compulsory - 100 per cent devotion at all costs.
"We had to learn to ride - this was non-negotiable."
Mr Bull was a founding member of the Wairarapa Motorcycle Club, was an Auto-cycle Union steward and a founding member of the Wairarapa branch of the Vintage Car Club of New Zealand and a member for 50 years.
He was the founder and life member of NZ Gold Wing Road Riders and past member of Waipoua Lions Club.
Mr Bull owned and operated Glen Bull Electrical and retired in 2004.
Mrs Sheridan spoke of her father's wishes to have his organs donated and said he had written this into his will.
"The manner of his passing has allowed for this to happen and we're so pleased to be able to tell everyone that four other people are benefiting from our father's generosity," she said.
"We hope that we will be able to live up to the example that our father set for us.
"He left us and was able to go exactly as he'd hoped to, which is a huge comfort.
"Dad loved a bit of a do and he'd think all this attention is just great, God bless Dad."
Mr Bull was the husband of Maureen, father and father-in-law of Heather and Brent Sheridan, Peter and Shonagh Bull, Andy and Debs Bull and Catherine and Declan Bannon.
He was grandfather to Ashleigh, Ben, Chelsea, Tommy, Selina, Carley, Jade, Kirsty, Billy, Lynda-Rose and Mirron, and great-grandfather to Kahurangi.
