Two Masterton men on a drunken spree stole and shifted garden ornaments and broke signs in the early hours of Sunday, say police.
A 22-year-old and a 23-year-old were arrested on Dixon St around 4am Sunday, after a resident called police alleging they had stolen his pot plants and broken a sign.
Two further residents on Kuripuni St and Norris Way called police later on Sunday morning to report various items had been stolen or shifted, including patio chairs, a three-seater swing seat, a glass table, a garden gnome, a concrete dog and a concrete donkey and cart.
Sergeant Simon Irving said he suspected the two men were drunk, and shifting the items to pick up later or just be a nuisance - they were charged with burglary.
Police have a silver letter box number three which was found in the men's possession and the owner can contact Masterton police.
