She is following in the footsteps of her father who was a shunter working in the Manawatu area.

Ms Doreen says she has been driving for about three weeks and still finds she feels a little stressed heading to work, but says once she gets going she is fine.
She has not had any trouble from her male colleagues, who have been very supportive of their female recruit.
