Southland bus crash injures 12

Twelve people have been treated at Southland Hospital's emergency department following a school bus accident in the township of Isla Bank.

Ten of the injured are children aged six to 12.

All are pupils at the local school.

A man and a woman were also hurt in the accident.

The Southland District Health Board says all had minor injuries, and none needed to be admitted.
