A 64-year-old South Taranaki man who died after a bulldozer he was driving plunged down a steep bank and rolled on top of him on Thursday has been named.
He was Alan John Newland, of Waverley, who was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on his family farm in Karahaki Rd, Waverley, just after 12pm.
