KEY POINTS:
A South Auckland Kiwibank was robbed this morning after a man handed a note to bank tellers.
Senior Sergeant Denise Traill said police would not say what the note said but that it was clear that it was a robbery.
The robbery happened at about 11.15am this morning at the Kiwibank on Dawson Road at Clover Park, in Manukau City.
She said no weapons were presented and the robbery took about 50 seconds from the time the robber entered to the time he left.
Ms Traill said the teller handed over a small amount of cash.
She said the man was "fair skinned", solid build and was wearing latex medical gloves, a grey scarf across his face, black trousers and a red American football jacket.
Ms Traill said he had facial hair and possibly a fake moustache.
Three tellers and two customers were in the store at the time and no one was hurt, she said.
