Hockey Wairarapa are seeking coaches for two of their higher-profile junior/representative sides.
The 2011 squads for the Curtis Cup (boys) and Rawleigh Trophy (girls) primary teams have been announced but HW regional development officer Jesse Workman says their future is in serious doubt if coaches can't be found for them.
"We won't be able to get them off the ground without coaches, that's all there is to it," Workman said.
Fortunately, the situation is brighter for the Hatch Cup boys and Collier Trophy girls teams, who are invariably among the top sides at their national age group tournaments.
Grant Brewster will coach the Hatch Cup combination, with Kerry Hare as his assistant, while Scott Wildman will coach the Collier Trophy side with Shellie McAnulty as his assistant.
