Sophia meets her dad

Kiwi model Samantha Burke has finally introduced her 5-month-old daughter Sophia to her father - actor Jude Law.

Burke, a New Zealand-born model and actress, gave birth last September. She had a brief fling with Law, 37, in December 2008 while he was in New York filming Sherlock Holmes.

But the actor did not see the baby until their meeting in Miami this week. According to British reports, Law saw his lawyer for six hours before meeting Burke to discuss child support for Sophia.

From her home in Florida earlier this week, Burke, 25, said: "I can't talk to you, I'm sorry, I would like to but I can't."

Burke was born in Christchurch but moved to the United States when she was a baby. The former waitress at a Hooters bar posed for pictures in her underwear while she was pregnant and posted the images on her blog.

Law has three children, Rafferty, Iris, and Rudy, to ex-wife Sadie Frost.
