The SPCA is overrun with dogs and puppies and is offering them for $175-$195 until July 13.
Committee member Sandra Sewell said a litter of seven puppies was discovered in the Tararua Ranges. Five didn't make it, but the SPCA has two of the staffy crosses that did make it and are up for sale.
They also have eight labrador-cross puppies, and kittens and cats from $30. All the SPCA's cats and dogs are flea and worm treated, de-sexed and microchipped.
The centre is at 299 Ngaumatawa Rd, Masterton and is open daily from 9am to 12pm and 3pm to 4pm.
