Snow warning for Milford Road

Up to 20cm of snow is expected to fall near the summit of the Milford Road this evening.

MetService is warning that light snow about the Homer Tunnel could accumulate this morning and will likely turn to rain before lunchtime.

But heavy snow is expected to begin falling between 5 and 6pm.

Between 10 and 20cm is expected to fall near the summit between tonight and tomorrow morning.
