Four fire engines and police were called to Mariner Drive in Whangaparaoa when a house caught fire this afternoon.
Emergency services were called just after 4pm to attend the "large blaze" at 22 Mariner Drive.
Witness Mark Wasley, who is on holiday in the area with family, was on the scene, and captured footage of smoke billowing over the neighbourhood as firefighters from the Manly, Silverdale, and East Coast Bays brigades fought the flames.
A police spokesperson confirmed police were also in attendance, and that Victim Support had been called in for the occupants of the house.
Nobody was hurt in the blaze.
