A small fire by a parked Jetstar plane at Auckland airport sparked an emergency callout late this evening - but it appears to have been short-lived.
An airport spokesman said the fire was in a ground unit which supplies power to the plane.
However, he said this was quickly extinguished.
A fire service spokeswoman confirmed a call had been made shortly before 10:30 this evening - but said the fire was out by the time the crew arrived.
