A nationwide appeal for the family of slain Auckland taxi driver Hiren Mohini has raised more than $100,000.
Police are still hunting Mr Mohini's killer. They believe the suspect has fled overseas.
Auckland Co-op Taxis general manager Barrie White is expressing heartfelt thanks on behalf of the Mohini family and the company to all those people who donated money. He says they have been overwhelmed by the generosity of the public.
An education fund has also been set up for the Mohini children by Wilkinson Insurance Brokers.
