KEY POINTS:
SkyCity's Auckland car park was raided last night and several cars were vandalised and damaged.
The company said it was working through surveillance footage today which would be passed on to police if any evidence was found.
The break in and damage comes after the Unite union claimed SkyCity had cut security, reducing the safety of staff and customers.
SkyCity said in the statement that "security and safety of customers and staff is always a priority".
