Sky TV services down throughout NZ

Sky TV services are down after an outage on the company's Optus B1 satellite.

All 650,000 Sky subscribers around the country are believed to be affected.

The company has posted a message on its website advising customers that Sky Sport 1 is available on UHF for the duration of the Live Cricket Awards.

It was unable to say when services will resume.
