Sky-high proposal over Auckland Domain: Did she say yes?

Caroline Lynskey's partner popped the question yesterday with a sky-high proposal circling Auckland's Domain around 1.30pm.

Locals enjoying a spot of sun in the Domain yesterday were left wondering what the answer would be after spotting a plane carrying a sign through the air with the hopeful words: "Caroline Grace will you marry me" printed in bold.

Last night Lynskey contacted the Herald to say she'd accepted the proposal from her now-fiancee Mona Tepu.

The couple were busy celebrating their engagement, but sent the Herald a smiling snap featuring Lynskey's sparkling new ring.
