A "sizeable" scrub fire in Canterbury has been doused by firefighters.
The rural blaze stretched across 5000sq m near Grange Rd in Burnham at its height, Tim Reynolds, of the Fire Service southern communication centre, said.
Firefighters were called to the scene shortly before 4pm, and seven fire engines and one helicopter were used to extinguish the flames.
The fire was "reasonably sizeable", Mr Reynolds said, but firefighters had brought it under control by around 6pm.
There were no reports of injuries.
