A 6-year-old boy pinned under a car in Raglan yesterday morning is in a stable condition in Waikato Hospital.
The boy was flown to hospital by helicopter with serious injuries after his bike and a car collided on the footpath on Stewart St, Raglan, trapping him underneath.
A spokeswoman for Waikato Hospital confirmed the boy was now in a stable condition in a hospital ward.
"Fire, ambulance and police staff arrived to find a 6-year-old boy and his bike pinned under the car, with the boy having suffered serious injuries," said Waikato road policing manager Inspector Freda Grace yesterday.
