Six people were today sent for trial over the killing of a Christchurch man following a fight in the city.
Timothy John Constable, 24, was found critically injured after emergency services were called to a house in the suburb of Bishopdale on August 7.
Ambulance officers were unable to keep him alive and he died at the scene.
In Christchurch District Court today three men and three women were committed for trial and remanded on bail for a pre-trial conference in the High Court at Christchurch on February 12, the Christchurch Court News website reported.
The three men are accused of murdering Mr Constable, two women are charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and one woman is charged with assault.
