Six members of the TV3 show WannaBen who are accused of involvement in a fake pilot stunt at Auckland Airport in September have pleaded not guilty to a charge against them.
The show's host Ben Boyce, Bryce Casey, Andrew Robinson, Craig O'Reilly, Daniel Watkins and Gregory Clarke appeared at the Manukau District Court this morning to face one charge under the Civil Aviation Act of providing false information in an attempt to gain access to a secure area.
None of them showed any emotion and all were remanded on bail until November 2.
"At the present time they are not to go to the airport except for the purposes of travel,'' said lawyer for three of the accused Paul Dacre.
The maximum penalty the men could face is 12 months in jail or a fine of up to $10,000.
